In addition to the messages posted already, Paul's girlfriends’ fear of the stuff growing all over the wall was not so far off. I heard that the slime moulds inspired old sci-fi movies like 'the blob' in which some substance like the slime mould takes over the world. Presumably it first mutates or it originates from outer space, or whatsoever. Every now and then some slime mould reaches the newspapers, as it grows fast, moves and does not look like anything familiar. |
